Offering status
ESA Explorer $449, ESA Family $799, ESA Curriculum $1,299 annually. All three bundles are Planned; checkout is unavailable. ESA subscriptions are being prepared and checkout is not available. Existing non-ESA family learning stays 100% free. Confirm eligible expenses with your program administrator before purchasing; reimbursement is not guaranteed.
Choose for your household, not a reimbursement promise
ESA Explorer is planned for one child profile. ESA Family is planned for a household needing up to four profiles. ESA Curriculum is planned for up to six profiles and additional parent planning tools. These limits are the proposed capacity of a subscription, not a statement that every child in your household qualifies for public funding. A sibling’s access and a sibling’s program eligibility are separate questions. Start by trying the existing free learning with your children. Decide whether the cultural content is useful before considering premium administration. You may find that a shared activity and your own portfolio notes are all you need. If a future bundle would help, compare its final available features, not just the largest profile count. We do not assign sales-based labels to these tiers because there is no verified purchase history for this offering.
Understand the annual price
All three published preview prices are in US dollars for a planned one-year subscription: $449, $799, and $1,299. The Explorer monthly figure is only an arithmetic comparison of $449 divided by twelve, rounded to $37.42. It is not a monthly payment option, a trial, or a smaller commitment. Checkout is disabled, so no annual charge, tax calculation, renewal, or payment authorization can happen through these pages. The Family comparison of $199.75 per child assumes that all four profiles are used. The Curriculum comparison of $216.50 assumes all six profiles are used. Neither figure is a separately purchasable child subscription. Using fewer profiles does not change the stated bundle price. Before launch, the checkout terms must clearly disclose any applicable taxes, renewal behavior, cancellation process, and refund policy. No prorated refund or money-back guarantee is offered on this preview.
What is being prepared for every tier?
Every planned tier proposes monthly progress reports, formal standards alignment documentation, and itemized purchase receipts to support submission consideration. Unlimited Ask MaiMai access and the tier-specific profile allowances also belong to this premium plan. These systems are not available yet. There are no finished PDFs, automatic receipt emails, live ESA entitlements, or verified premium reporting workflows for this page to demonstrate. The Family tier additionally proposes a multi-child dashboard, combined monthly reporting, priority support, and a Teacher Resource Pack. The Curriculum tier proposes quarterly alignment reports, a custom learning plan builder, early access, and a workbook library. Support response guarantees have not been established, so none are advertised. The workbook library is being prepared; a listed roadmap feature should not be mistaken for a downloadable product. The launch offering must be checked against the final delivered features.
The free experience is not a lower ESA tier
MaiMai’s existing non-ESA learning remains 100% free for families, whether or not your family has an ESA. Cultural adventures, current language activities, existing printable resources, and World Desk are not being moved behind this new annual pricing. A future paid bundle is optional and separate. You do not have to purchase a premium plan to keep exploring the resources already offered without charge. The planned bundles build additional administration around that learning. They are not an attempt to charge an ESA account for a zero-price download or to create a receipt for free content. A future product description and receipt must accurately explain what paid service was purchased. Keep a clear distinction between a free activity your child used and a paid administrative service, especially when describing an expense to an account administrator.
Check shared-household expense rules
A family subscription may be convenient at home, but ESA funds can be tied to an individual student. Ask whether a shared software subscription is permitted and whether a program requires a per-student allocation, a separate purchase, a particular invoice format, or other documentation. Do not divide a household charge across student accounts simply because a price comparison on this page divides the cost by four or six. Tell your administrator which children would use the service, which hold funded accounts, and whether any child also receives another scholarship. Avoid submitting the same cost more than once or treating unused profile capacity as an expense for another student. The future household guide is being prepared and cannot authorize an allocation. If your administrator requires a structure the published bundle cannot support, use free learning instead of assuming an exception will be granted.
What must happen before subscriptions open?
Live checkout, secure payment verification, account access, entitlement enforcement, and customer receipt delivery must be configured and tested before subscribing is enabled. Public documentation must also be finished and reviewed, and business details needed for accurate receipts must be supplied. A test payment catalog is not a live purchasing option. This frontend does not start a test checkout, take a deposit, or claim that payment processing is already working. When purchasing becomes available, review the final terms and confirm program eligibility before committing. Some programs cannot reimburse a personal-card purchase at all, even if the subject is educational. Ask about direct payment or provider requirements first. For now, the disabled Subscribe buttons are intentionally honest. Email the team with a question if needed, but a message does not reserve a price, create an account entitlement, or enroll you in a paid plan.
